Wooden windows in the Swedish series differ from typical European windows, as they are characterised by outward opening. This construction solution significantly improves the functionality of the windows. This was dictated by the climatic characteristics of Scandinavian countries, where windows are subject to strong gusts of wind. This makes it possible to utilise the wind force to achieve greater adhesion of the sash to the fixed frame.
